Air Canada Flight Refund
You can cancel your Air Canada flight ticket and get a full refund without penalty up to 24 hours after ticket purchases. After 24 hours, Air Canada levies additional fees and fare upgrades for any voluntary flight changes, depending on your fare type. However, for passengers with a non-refundable ticket, the airline does not issue a refund. Moreover, Air Canada flight tickets are non-transferable and only the same person whose name is mentioned on the original ticket can redeem the travel credit.
You must also apply for a refund for your Air Canada booking from the original point of purchase because each partner has been assigned a unique code.
For bookings made directly via the Air Canada official web portal, you can submit your refund request from the My Bookings link.
In case Air Canada has cancelled or delayed your flight, you are eligible for a refund on the unused portion of the ticket. Also, if your flight has been delayed for over 3 hours or a connection has been added to your itinerary, you become eligible for a refund.
