About Air New Zealand Baggage Allowance

As far as carry-on baggage allowance on Air NZ flights is concerned, Economy fares come with 1 carry-on baggage up to 7 kg allowance, in addition to one small personal item. Business Premier and Premium Economy class travellers can bring 2 carry-on bags, with both bags weighing not more than 14 kg, and 1 small handbag or laptop. The total linear dimensions (height + width + length) of a carry-on bag should not exceed 118 cm or 4.5 inches.
In the case of international flights, Economy class travellers are entitled to 1 checked bag, Premium Economy travellers can carry 2 checked bags, and Business Premier passengers have up to 3 checked baggage allowance. Make sure each checked baggage does not weigh more than 23 kg; otherwise, excess baggage charges apply.
