About Air Serbia
Air Serbia is the flag airline of Serbia and has its headquarters traceable to Belgrade Serbia. The main hub of Air Serbia is Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. The origins of Air Serbia can be traced back to the year 1927 when Aeroput was formed; Aeroput became the flag airline of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Following WWII, the company was rebranded as JAT Jugoslovenski Aerotransport in the year 1948 to become the flag carrier of the SFR Yugoslavia. With the breakup of Yugoslavia in the early 1990s, JAT transformed into a public company on 29th February 1992 while continuing as the flag carrier of SR Yugoslavia.

The year 2003 marks the renaming of the airline to JAT Airways when the country was renamed Serbia and Montenegro. Montenegro gained independence in the year 2006 and JAT Airways was announced as the flag air carrier of Serbia. JAT Airways was renamed to become Air Serbia in October 2013. Air Serbia serves more than 30 countries and 60 destinations. Etihad Guest is the frequent flyer program of Air Serbia.
