About ANA Seat Selection
The ANA Seat Selection policy allows passengers to book their flight seats in advance. If you book your seat within 24 hours of making your reservation on ANA flights, you do not have to pay to choose your seat. After the given timeframe, you will have to pay to select your seat in advance. As per your ticket type and destination, the airline charges for advance seat selection fees. You can reserve your seat in advance on ANA flights until 48 hours before flight departure. If you do not reserve your ANA flight seat in advance, you can do so free of cost when the online check-in service becomes available 24 hours before departure time. There are 2 ways of selecting your ANA flight seat in advance; online via the “Manage Reservations” link or by phone to the ANA Contact Centre.
Here’s how you can make the most of ANA’s seat selection service:
Register Information in Advance
- 24 hours before departure, visit the ANA SKY WEB Online Check-in page.
- Input your reservation number, e-ticket number, first name, and last name.
- Note that some flights may allow seat preference requests (aisle or window) even if a specific seat selection is not available.
Choose Your Preferred Seat
- Use the seat map displayed on the Seat information page.
- Select your desired seat, whether it’s an aisle, window, or a seat closer to the front for smoother boarding and disembarkation.
- Confirm your selection by clicking the “Register and finish” button.
- For multiple passengers, choose seats individually from the passenger names displayed.
Paid Advance Seat Reservation:
- ANA offers paid advance seat reservations for certain booking classes in Economy Class.
- You can reserve aisle or window seats, seats with extra legroom, or other popular seats.
- Please note that the number of seats available for reservation is limited.
Important Notes:
- Seat assignments are available until 48 hours before departure on the ANA website.
- Online check-in is possible from 24 hours up to 75 minutes before departure.
- Keep in mind that the availability of advance seat reservations may vary based on flight conditions and reservation details.
- For specific inquiries about seat selection on codeshare flights or flights not operated by ANA, contact the relevant operating airline.
