The Carrier will try to arrange alternative flights during such times. If any passenger refuses to accept the new change and the airline cannot organize other travel arrangements, the airline provides the option of an involuntary refund on the unused portion of the ticket, without any deductions.
There may be times when passengers request the airline to cancel their flight due to personal reasons. The Carrier will then process flight cancellation requests as per your fare provisions. Hainan Airlines charges a cancellation fee depending on when you cancel your reservation and your fare family. Flyers who cancel their Hainan Airlines reservation within the 24-hour window and when the flight is at least 7 days away can avail of a refund of the full fare amount. The fare rules start to apply after the 24-hour window expiry.
