In case Hainan Airlines cannot carry passengers as per the given schedule, passengers are informed about the delays via their contact phone numbers. If there is a significant change in your flight schedule and you do not accept the change, you can submit your refund application.
Hainan Airlines also allows travellers to modify their reservations in case of changes in their travel plans. In such cases, you can change your flight as per your fare provisions. You also have to pay the fare difference between the original fare and the new fare to confirm your new reservation.
There are two ways in which you can modify your Hainan Airlines reservation: online and offline. Access the Hainan Airlines Manage Bookings portal to change your flight date and time. Start by signing in to your account on the portal with your E-Ticket number or Booking Reference Number and Last Name. As your next step, you have to find your booking, tap the “Change Flight” link, browse the available flight schedules, and make your selection.
You then have to make the payment to confirm your new Hainan Airlines reservation, at which point you will receive a confirmation email for record purposes. Talk to the Hainan Airlines Contact Center representatives to modify your reservation offline.
