About Kenya Airways Flight Cancellation
There may be times when Kenya Airways has to cancel flights due to extenuating circumstances. The Carrier will notify you of the schedule changes via your registered mobile number and email address. Flyers will also be rebooked on other available flights without any extra charge during flight cancellations. If the fare for the revised routing is lower than the original fare, you will be refunded the difference. Travellers will also be provided meals, accommodation, and compensation when flights are cancelled.
In case you cannot travel and want to cancel your booking, you can apply for a refund. Kenya Airways processes your refund requests on the unused portion of your ticket as per your fare class. Access the Kenya Airways Manage My Booking portal to cancel your reservation when you have purchased your flight ticket via the website and the booking is still active. Simply sign in to your account on the portal, find your booking, and tap the corresponding “Cancel and Refund” tab to cancel your flight. It is important to note that if you have an open ticket, all sectors will get cancelled. If you opt for a refund, the entire ticket and flights are cancelled. In case you bought your ticket on the airline website and the inbound travel has a past date or the flight gets cancelled, you are required to fill out the Refund Form on the website.
