Korean Air may not be able to operate flights on schedule due to unavoidable circumstances. Passengers are notified of any changes in flight schedules on the given contact numbers. In case the airline makes a significant change to your travel schedule and you do not accept the change or the Carrier cannot book you on an alternative flight that is acceptable to you, you have the right to a full refund.
You may be prompted to change your Korean Air reservation when your travel plans change, too. Korean Air allows you to modify your reservation as per your fare rules, in such cases. Check your e-ticket for the change policy and fare provisions. Travelers who have made their reservations via the Korean Air website, mobile app, or Service Center can modify their reservation via the “My Trips” portal. Once you log in to your account on the portal, you have to find your booking and tap the corresponding “Change Flight” tab.
You then have to browse the available flights and take your pick from the options available. The system displays the amount payable (including fare difference and ticket handling fees) and you have to make the payment to confirm your new reservation. You will also receive a confirmation email with your new flight details for record purposes.
