About Kuwait Airways Refund Policy

When Kuwait Airways fails to operate flights or you voluntarily request for ticket changes or cancellations, you will be entitled to a refund as per the stipulated regulations.

The Carrier issues refunds only to the person named in the ticket or the person who made the payment after satisfactory proof is submitted. In case the passenger has not purchased the ticket and the ticket indicates a restriction on refund, the airline makes refunds only to the person who paid for the ticket or acts as per their instructions.
Submission of your ticket coupon and unused flight coupons are mandatory when applying for a refund; lost ticket cases are exempt from this rule.

Kuwait Airways processes refunds as per its policies regarding voluntary refunds and involuntary refunds. As far as involuntary refunds go, the Carrier makes refunds on the unused portion of the ticket without deducting any charges. For voluntary refunds, Kuwait Airways refunds the fare amount less any applicable service or cancellation fees. Kuwait Airways reserves the right to issue refunds in the same currency and same country as the ticket purchase.

If you have made your reservation via the Kuwait Airways website or mobile app, you can apply for a refund online via the Manage Booking portal. You are advised to contact your travel agent when applying for a voluntary refund.
