The airline commenced operations on 1st January 1929 after the takeover of existing air carriers Aero (founded in the year 1925) and Aeroflot (founded in the year 1922). If you’re traveling in Premium Economy Class on an international flight operated by LOT, you can take 1 item of carry-on baggage with maximum weight of 8 kg. LOT Business Class passengers are entitled to 2 items of cabin baggage, with the weight of each piece not exceeding 9 kg. Hand baggage has to fit either in the overhead sit or underneath the preceding passenger seat. In addition to hand baggage, you can take a personal item such as a laptop or a purse.
As far as checked baggage on international flights on European routes goes, LOT allows 2 items where the weight of each bag should not exceed 23 kg in Premium Economy Class, and 2 pieces of 32 kg as the maximum weight of each bag in LOT Business Class.
