Among the main home bases of the airline are Mehrabad International Airport and Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport. Mahan Air operates scheduled domestic and international flights; its network covers the Middle East, the Far East, Europe, and Central Asia. Mahan Air was set up in the year 1991 and it started operating flights from the year 1992. The airline gets its name from Mahan city in Kerman Province. Also, Mol-Al-Movahedin Institute owns Mahan Air. Mahan and Miles is the frequent flyer program of Mahan Air for its loyal clients.
