Malaysia Airlines Berhad (or Malaysia Airlines) is the flag air carrier of Malaysia and its headquarters are traced to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The origins of Malaysia Airlines date back to the 1930s when Malayan Airways Limited (MAL) was formed in Singapore; MAL operated its first commercial flight in the year 1947.
