The Olympic Air client relations team is available on the helpline 020 8283 1980. Reach out to the OA team to know about the check-in process and deadlines. For passengers who are traveling to and from the United Kingdom, Olympic Air provides the online check-in service starting 48 hours and until 30 minutes before flight departure. The OA online check-in process includes selecting your preferred seat and obtaining your boarding pass. You can receive your boarding pass on your smartphone as a Mobile Boarding Pass. Or, you can print your boarding pass or collect it from the airline airport kiosk or check-in counter. After getting your boarding pass, you must proceed to the “Drop Baggage” counters to submit your baggage to the airline authorities. If you do not have checked baggage, you must head directly to the boarding gate.
You must also speak to the airline team if you want to know about the OA guidelines for pregnant women. Note that the airline allows pregnant women to travel on flights until their 36th week of pregnancy in case of single pregnancies. However, if you’re having multiple pregnancies, then you can travel on OA flights only until the 28th week of your pregnancy. Also, pregnant women who do not have any complications need not submit a medical certificate. Even so, the airline requires pregnant passengers to fill, sign, and carry along the “Pregnancy Statement for Air Travel”.
Moreover, if you have to travel beyond your 28th week of pregnancy, you must produce a medical note from your midwife or gynecologist. Also, the airline permits 1 infant to travel with 1 passenger who is over 15 years old. On the other hand, an adult passenger who is above 18 years old has to accompany a child who is between 2 years and 12 years on OA flights. Additionally, the child has to travel with the accompanying passenger in the same travel class on the same flight.
Even so, if your child who is between 5 and 12 years old is traveling alone, you can avail the OA Unaccompanied Minor Service. As part of this service, the OA ground employees escort your child from the check-in counter up to the aircraft entrance. The cabin crew is responsible for your child’s welfare inside the aircraft. More so, at the arrival airport, an OA ground crew member accompanies your child from the aircraft and hands them over to the appointed guardian after verifying his/her identification documents.
