Pegasus Airlines is a Turkish airline that has its headquarters based in the Kurtköy region of Pendik in Istanbul. This low-cost air carrier has its bases in various Turkish airports. Pegasus Airlines is Turkey’s second-largest airline after Turkish Airlines. Pegasus Airlines covers more than 115 destinations across 44 countries. Pegasus BolBol is the frequent flyer program of the airline.

Net and Silkar, two businesses, entered into a partnership agreement with Aer Lingus on 1st December 1989 to create a charter air carrier named Pegasus Airlines. However, the airline started operations from 15th April 1990 onwards. The year 1994 marks the takeover of Pegasus Airlines by Istanbul-based Yapi Kredibank after Net and Aer Lingus sold their respective shares to the company. Following this acquisition, Turkish Airlines became a Turkish company wholly. ESAS Holdings took over Pegasus Airlines in January 2005, after which the charter airline became a low-cost air carrier.

As part of the mobile check-in process, you can use your mobile phone and complete the check-in process from the mobile website, mobile.flypgs.com. After completing the mobile check-in process, you will get your Mobile Boarding Pass and flight details on your mobile number and email address. You can use your Mobile Boarding Pass Barcode instead of a boarding pass to enter the aircraft.

Pegasus Airlines Baggage Allowance

As per your travel class and destination, Pegasus Airlines decides your baggage allowance. The cabin baggage rules of the airline allow passengers to bring 1 piece of cabin baggage on board the flight. You can carry 1 piece of cabin baggage with dimensions no more than 55*40*20 cm or 1 personal item that is maximum 40*30*15 cm in size.
