The Sky Express network includes both domestic destinations and international routes. The airline allows travelers to check in online and check in at the airport. If you are checking in online, you can do so between 48 hours and 3 hours before flight departure. You can check in online to your Sky Express flight via a tablet, computer, or smartphone, with internet connectivity. Only make sure your device can read PDF files to do so.

As part of the Sky Express check-in online process, you must select “Check-In” and then enter your booking code and surname. For your boarding pass, you can either print it or download it to your device. Thereafter, at the airport, you should drop off your baggage at the SKY Express check-in counter and head to the boarding gate. In case you are traveling without any baggage, you can straightaway go to the boarding gate. Only passengers who reach the boarding gate 20 minutes before scheduled departure time are allowed on flights.

Also, when you are traveling on a Sky Express flight with children and require assistance, you can reach out to the airline staff. Parents who are traveling with infants below the age of 2 years can remain seated on their laps for the flight duration. The airline crew will give you a special child safety belt that is attached to your seat belt when doing so. Sky Express only allows infants that are more than 7 days to travel. Moreover, where newborns that are aged between 7 days and 2 years are concerned, the airline mandates the parents to submit a medical certificate ascertaining that the child is fit to travel.

Even if you are booked on a Sky Express flight during your pregnancy and want to know about the airline policy for expectant mothers, you can speak to the airline representatives. Sky Express allows pregnant women to travel up to the 28th week of their pregnancy, without medical certificates. In cases of pregnant women traveling between the 29th week and the 35th week of their pregnancy, they have to obtain a certificate mentioning they are medically fit to travel from their doctor. The medical certificate must mention that the pregnancy has no complications, and other details such as the estimated due date and gestation week. Women during the 36th week or beyond are not allowed to travel on Sky Express flights.

Sky Express Check-In

When boarding a SkyExpress Check-in Flight, you can check in online or at the airport.

Checking-In Online

Online check-in facility for SkyExpress flights is open between 48 hours and 3 hours before flight departure.

  • The first step to check in online is to tap the “Check-in” tab
  • Next, you have to enter your booking code and your surname
  • Go on to print your boarding pass; you can also download it on your mobile phone
  • When you arrive at the airport, drop your bags at the SkyExpress check-in counter; ensure to reach the boarding gate at least 20 minutes before flight departure
  • Carry all the mandatory travel documents
  • Make your hand baggage does not go beyond the given baggage allowance; else, you have to pay more.

Checking-In at the Airport

If you are checking in at the airport, you should reach the SkyExpress counter 2 hours before departure time. The SkyExpress check-in counters close 30 minutes and 45 minutes before flight departure for domestic flights and international flights respectively.

Importantly, make sure you have all your travel documents and that your baggage does not go beyond the baggage allowance.
