SpiceJet is the second largest carrier in India and the airline headquarters are situated in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. SpiceJet has its bases in Delhi and Hyderabad, operating flights to domestic and international destinations. The origins of SpiceJet date back to the year 1994 when it was launched as air taxi provider ModiLuft by SK Modi, an Indian industrialist. Then, the year 2005 saw Ajay Singh, an Indian entrepreneur, acquiring the company and renaming it to SpiceJet. The air carrier has been operating since May 2005. The tagline of SpiceJet is Red.Hot.Spicy. Also, the frequent flyer program of SpiceJet for its loyal customers is named SpiceClub.
