TUI Airways (the erstwhile Thomson Airways) is a British carrier that operates scheduled and charter flights from its bases in the United Kingdom and Ireland to various destinations covering Asia, Europe, North America, and Africa. The TUI head office is traced to Wigmore House, Luton, Bedfordshire. The origins of TUI go back to December 1964, when it was founded as Euravia, which was renamed as Britannia Airways on 1st December 1964. Later, in May 2005, Britannia Airways was renamed to become Thomsonfly, when the Thomson Travel Group (the parent company of Britannia Airways) was acquired by the TUI Group. Then, on 1st November 2008, Thomsonfly was rebranded to Thomson Airways. Thomson Airways officially came to be known as TUI Airways on 2nd October 2017.

If you’re booked on a TUI flight, you can get in touch with the airline staff to know about the check-in deadlines. Remember that TUI allows passengers to start checking in online starting 48 hours before departure time.
