Widerøe is a Norwegian carrier and the airline headquarters are based at Bodø in Nordland county in Norway. Operating domestic and international flights, WIDEROE is recognized as the largest regional air carrier to operate in the Nordic countries. Passengers can start checking in online from 22 hours before the scheduled departure time. You can check in online to your Widerøe flight via the app, SMS facility, and the self-service kiosks at the airport. The airline recommends travelers to arrive at the airport well in advance to complete the security and other procedures.

You can reach out to the airline team for assistance when traveling with your infant, too. In case you are boarding an international flight with your newborn that is below 2 years of age, you have to pay 10% of the adult fare for your baby. These charges apply only when the child will be seated on the lap of an adult during the flight. You can also book a separate seat for your infant by purchasing a child fare ticket. In such cases, your baby has to travel in a certified car seat. Also, Widerøe allows an adult to travel with maximum of 2 infants, out of which one can travel on child fare and the second in an approved car seat. Moreover, parents can carry prams for their little ones.

Widerøe also provides Special Assistance services to physically challenged persons. However, the airline accepts your requests for such services only when you book at least 48 hours before flight departure. And if you book your flight less than 48 hours before scheduled departure, the airline will do all that it can to accommodate you. When you book the Special Services of the airline, you can get a suitable seat to keep you comfortable.

Widerøe offers different ticket fares for you to choose from. Among Widerøe fares are Full Flex fares, Flex fares, Smart fares, and Mini Fares. While Full Flex fares and Flex fares are fully refundable, Smart Fares and Mini Fares are fully refundable within 24 hours after booking.

You can also contact the Widerøe team for information about group bookings. The airline offers special Group rates for 10 or more people traveling together. Also, in cases of group bookings, the airline requires 20% deposit to be paid within 5 months from the departure date. In case you book less than 5 months from the scheduled departure date, then the deposit is payable 14 days after booking. Moreover, the full amount has to be paid within the given deadline and before the issuance of tickets. And when the tickets are issued, the airline refunds the deposit money.
