About London City Airport
London City Airport (IATA Name: LCY) is traceable to the Royal Docks within the premises of the Borough of Newham, which is nearby the major users of the airport and main centers of London’s financial industry – the City of London and Canary Wharf.

As of 2017, London City Airport was deemed the first-busiest airport in the United Kingdom among airports serving London districts, following Heathrow airport, Gatwick Airport, Stansted Airport, and Luton airport. Moreover, the 2017 data showed LCY to be the fourteenth-busiest airport in the United Kingdom.

London City Airport serves both businessmen and leisure travelers. The wintertime is the busiest for London City Airport, with many globetrotters heading to skiing destinations like Milan, Geneva, and Zürich via Swiss International Air Lines and British Airways.

London City Airport has a 2-storey passenger terminal building containing 18 gates.
