Alan Rogers Travel Group was started in the year 2012 after the Caravan Club acquired Alan Rogers Travel Service. The objective behind the Club taking over the Alan Rogers Travel Service was to improve its overseas travel solutions. As such, the Cub could add the wide range of travel products and services of the Alan Rogers Travel Service to its Overseas Travel Service.

Since its inception, the Alan Rogers Travel Group has emerged as a market leader. Alan Rogers Guides is the most popular offering by the Alan Rogers Travel Group. Alan Rogers has been publishing camping guides from the year 1968 onwards.

Products & Services

Alan Rogers Guides
Through the Alan Rogers Guides, readers obtain information about the best-quality campsites in Europe. Also, the Alan Rogers guides are available in two languages: English and Dutch. In the year 2011, the company started doling out themed guides.

As part of the Alan Rogers guides, the Alan Rogers Travel Group covered nine titles previously. These include the best campsites for nature, dogs, children, fishing, spa, walking & cycling, active holidays, beach, and golf. However, the company reduced the titles to four core ones in the year 2014. Then, the company discontinued all these titles in the year 2016.

Destinations
The year 2012 saw the Alan Rogers Travel Group launching the Destinations magazine, which provides readers with new locations to visit on their holidays. During the months of February and December, the issues of Destinations are released for coinciding with the major travel expos. Destination editions are available in the Danish, English, and Dutch languages.

Alan Rogers Travel Service
Alan Rogers Travel Service became the tour operating arm of the Alan Rogers Travel Group after the takeover. The Alan Rogers Travel Service offered exhaustive campsite information. The Caravan Club site took over the travel operations of the Alan Rogers Travel Service in October 2015.
