Company History
Through the 1960s and the 1970s, the PGL experience centered on three main activities: sailing, canoeing, and pony treks. Tents were arranged for accommodation. The 1980s saw the company shift into the school and group travel market.
PGL is, also, credited for being one of the UK frontrunners in organizing canoeing expeditions in the Ardèche Gorge in the South of France.
In the year 2019, PGL Travel joined Study Link, NST, and European Study Tours to come under the HB Education Group, which is owned by Midlothian Capital Partners.
